About Us

At Vista Vet Clinic & Urgent Care, we take pride in being locally owned & operated by women veterinarians.

Leah Ravitz, DVM

Dr. Leah Ravitz hails from the Jersey Shore.  She obtained her BA in biology from Colgate University and her veterinary degree from Ross University.  She did a one year rotating internship at Colorado State University.  She then worked for 12 years in New York City as an emergency doctor followed by another 2 years in emergency here in Utah.

She was drawn to Utah for skiing and the ability to put her groceries in a car after city life.

She shares her home with her husband, also a veterinarian, a toddler, not a veterinarian yet, a naughty dog and a perfect fluffy cat.

Annamaria Tadlock, DVM

Dr. Tadlock grew up in rural Oregon caring for a menagerie of pets and farm animals. When she was 11 she wrote in her diary, “I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up”. She obtained both her bachelor’s degree in biology and her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Oregon State University. She completed a one year rotating internship at Westvet (now MedVet) in Boise, ID and then moved to Utah to work overnight emergency shifts. She lives with a perfect brown mixed breed rescue dog, a small naughty kitten, and a flock of hens.
